I’m Gierad Laput and gierad.com is my hood. This site is my avenue for projects, portfolios, personal insights, and random blurbs.

More About Me

I love music, and i breathe with it.

I am obsessed with wiping liquid stuff on the table. I love water, and that means the ocean as well. I crave for nights overlooking at skylines, and very long walks at the beach.

I currently work for Ford Motor Company, and have taken roles as a Technology Analyst for Mobile Computing, and a Business Analyst for Product Definition.

I completed my B.S degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan – Dearborn. I conducted research under Prof. YiLu Murphey for the Artificial Intelligence Lab. I’m currently a Research Assistant for Smart Sensors and Integrated Microsystems (SSIM) at Wayne State University. I also worked for 3 years as a Web Developer for ECS at the UM-Dearborn College of Engineering and Computer Science.
